playing catch up
February Photo A Day
I’m so glad that I decided to participate in the February Photo A Day Challenge. Love the shots I’m getting. Above is February 19 – 24.
something you don’t like to do | your handwriting | favorite picture of you | where you work | shoes | bathroom cabinet
And yes, that is me in Underroos in 1978. And yes, that is my favorite photo (for real!).
True Scrap 3
Last week I threw myself into my class, finishing up all my projects. I can’t wait until March 1st when I’ll share some sneak peeks and registration opens for True Scrap 3. Did you get a chance to meet all the teachers? Check out the video below.
If you want to sign up for the True Scrap 3 emails and stay up to date with the latest info, please visit the True Scrap 3 page. :-)
This past Saturday
I went with Karen to an awesome store called Scrapp’n Savvy. Oh my goodness! We had way to much fun!!! Karen was demo’ing Sizzix products and doing a make-n-take her new Pop `n Cuts system and I was her helper.
I also got to meet the fabulous Nancy! Sadly, I didn’t think to get a photo with her. Next time! Check out Nancy’s blog and gorgeous work HERE.
The store is full of cool stuff! If you’re in the Houston area, I highly recommend checking it out.
Other Stuff
Friday night was movie night… we watched Jurassic Park. I may or may not napped through all of it. On Sunday I got inky working with the The Stamps of Life stamps (look for a new video on March 1st). This week I’ll be in full editing mode. I forgot how much I enjoyed teaching online. I finished my book on Sunday too, I was reading Burnt Offerings in the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton. 4 books so far this year, go me!
Alrighty! That’s it for now. Happy Monday!!!!

February Photo A Day: update
The month is flying by!!! The above is February 13 –18.
blue | heart | phone | something new | time | drink
I’m contemplating doing the March Photo A Day but I am undecided. I love the concept but some months are just busier than others so I just don’t know if I can swing it. What say you? Are you up for a photo a day in March?
And may I just say, FatMumSlim, you are awesome! I love the photo prompts and you have the best online handle name ever!!!
Happy Monday everyone!

The description for MY class Jumpstart Your Art: What to do when you’re just not feeling it -
Do you ever go into your creative space to make a layout and hear crickets in the background because you just don’t where to start? It feels like creative paralysis – the mojo has left the building. We’ve all been there! Gretchen’s got some fun projects, creative ideas, and tips to help get you back on track when you’re just not feeling it. There will be plenty of examples to help you jumpstart your creativity and get back into the scrapbooking groove in no time.
I’m having fun being creative and working on my class for True Scrap 3. I’m a girl that’s all about bang for your buck so I’m trying to pack it full of as much content as possible. :-)
Photos
Me and my sinuses, they aren’t friends. I was pretty much out of it all weekend and Monday too. So, the blog post I was going to do on Monday (which was going to be fabulous I tell ya, had it all planned in my head), didn’t happen.
So, the short version of Monday’s blog post:
I’m playing along with the February Photo A Day Challenge. These photos represent day 7 – 12.
A card
So Tuesday rolls around and I feel better. But Tuesday was yesterday… you know, Valentine’s Day. I preplanned things for the kids but not the man. So after lunch at Panera with my wonderful friend Karen (hey! a girls gotta eat), I made my husband a card.
So, the short version of Tuesday’s blog post:
What else?
On to today. It’s Wednesday. I’m officially back on track. Well, except for my wordless Wednesday, that’s probably not going to happen but one thing at a time.
So, here’s today’s blog post:
Hi! :-)
Short and sweet right?
Hope you’re having a great week! Back to work…

I had to take some liberties with day 4. I didn’t leave the house that day so instead of taking a photo of a stranger, I picked something strange. That weird cartoon that my youngest likes seems to fit the bill!
It’s not to late to jump in if you want to play along. :-)
Just wanted to share!

Time to wrap it up. My December Daily 2011 album is complete. I’m relieved (and pretty darn proud of myself too!).

This album turned out a heck of a lot thicker than last years. I didn’t expect that. I’m going to have to find some bigger rings!
For a complete supply list of what I used for my December Daily 2011 album, please check out my Foundation Pages… all the links are there.
