I miss my laptop :(

My laptop officially died on Sunday so I’m using the archaic desktop computer upstairs. Part of me is grateful that we do have a second computer for me to use, the other part thinks “shoot me know!” because it’s so freakin’ slow. Here’s an extra bit of fun [eyeroll] about it… my laptop died on Sunday and the three year warranty ended on Saturday (yup! one day before… figures).

No idea what I’m going to do yet.

MS 150

Every year my husband rides in the MS 150. When I say every year, I mean this is his 11th year riding for the cause. Saying I’m proud of his dedication and determination would be an understatement. Beaming with pride might be a good way to put it but doesn’t cover it. He’s such a good hearted sole, I feel truly blessed to have him in my life.

He sent me some pictures from his phone that I thought would be fun to share… if there is commentary, it was made by him.

My youngest and the pup. Sometimes they drive me a little crazy, like partners in crime. Other times there are moments like this where small fry says “picture us!” and it absolutely melts my heart. Love this photo, it’s my new desktop background. :-)

Other stuff

I’m better. Still not 100% but almost. Thank goodness! I can’t remember the last time I was that sick. We had a really nice Easter. I still need to go through all the photos I took. Trying to get back into a normal pattern this week since I was completely out of it last week. So far, so good!

it’s Thursday?

On Saturday I started not feeling so hot. On Sunday I was down for the count. Monday I went to the doctor and got meds. Tuesday I thought I felt a little better but Wednesday came around I felt absolutely horrible again. Today is the first day that I’ve felt somewhat better and am having coherent conversations. All I can think is, it’s Thursday? I pretty much lost an entire week to sickness. That sucks in so many ways.

Thank goodness for my husband… he took care of everything! I lucked out with that one.

Here’s to a restful three day weekend and feeling much better!
