I am sorry to say that my local scrapbook store, Maridawn's Scrapbooking, is closing. I can't even begin to explain how sad this makes me... for so many reasons. Not only is the store 5 minutes from my house and always full of new stuff (that I love to buy!) but the people there are my friends and have become a big part of my life. I don't even know what else to say.
I'm really going to miss it.

Me too! That is the BEST STORE AROUND and I am so so so sad that it is closing :(

man....it seems like every scrapbook store is closing...I live like 15mins away from there.

It is truly a loss! Everyone I have talked to mentions what a great store it is, how busy it always is, how fun it always is! It is a loss to Katy, to scrapbookers!
Don't you just HATE THAT! I don't have an lss either. Sad, really. Those gals at Maridawn's were lots of fun. Too bad.
I feel your pain! We have lost several great stores in the past few years. I loved shopping and visiting with like minded addicts.
That is very sad. It is happening all over though. My LSS has had 4 different owners in the past 6 years. I keep my fingers crossed that it stays open!
